Installation

Removal of old grass and soil to depth of 100m

A geotextile weed membrane laid down to prevent weed growth

Sub-base laid and compacted, thickness depending on the ground drainage (usually 75mm)

Then 25mm covering of fine aggregate ie sand and the compacted

The artificial grass is then rolled out and trimmed to size

Any joints are then adhered to a joining tape

Kiln dried sand is then evenly dressed across the grass and brushed in, the weight of the sand holds the grass in position
